About
Built in 1837 as a gentleman’s farm with 256 acres, the present day Cobblestone rests on 3-1/2 acres of private grounds with a large pond, garden pond, cobblestone porch, decks and pool for summer enjoyment. The Inn is located just one mile from Historic Canandaigua and has been recently restored to its original cobblestone cottage style. The Inn is bright and cheery, pleasantly simple and fun. Cobblestone Cottage Bed & Breakfast is on the “Underground Railroad” trail and there is an authentic hidden horsehair plaster room hidden in the attic behind the original chimneys.

I stayed at 1837 Cobblestone Cottage and I can honestly say I have never stayed at a better B&B. This place was just wonderful all the way around. I found out that Kathy and Joe just recently became the new owners of the place. Well let me tell you that they went above and beyond. The place is just in excellent shape. A great downhome feel to the place. It is well maintained. Also the breakfast spreads were just out of this world amazing. I will definitely be recommending this great location to all. Thank you for a great relaxing weekend.
Hi Kathy – David and I had a great time this past weekend at the B&B. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! The house is beautiful, the rooms are more than comfortable and the breakfast was great. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend or a better innkeeper.
